Project 3 Clay

I started my clay project with a textured floor of a diamond shape. Then I jumped into making the mannequin which was at the limit of 8 inches. I used a scoop to make the inside of the dress hollow and shaped the rest of the dress by hand. My theme and vision of the overall project is a sewing design studio. Next I worked on making the thread spool and adding textured thread. Next I work on making the giant oversized needle and carved my brand name into it. I then worked on the sewing machine and the clothes rack. I used Matte glazes for the color. Some were random and others had real life colors. After it was fired, I used opoxy to stick some pieces together that fell off.
